The Bat Coin is an item seen in the film Princess Mononoke.
It was mainly used to pay for magic items, but San tried to pay Eboshi with it, and then bought a magic necklace with it.
Kaya, who got the Bat Coin from her father, gives it to Ashitaka before he leaves his village to say that she loves him. Later on in the story, Ashitaka gives it to San. It is used to show the bond between two people.
Bat Coin is priceless, but at the same time, you could buy anything with it.
