Battleships are naval-based warships featured in the film, Howl's Moving Castle.
Background[]
A returning battleship, heavily damaged
Pristine battleships belonging to the Ingary navy are first seen heading out of Porthaven with much fanfare. As war rages, only a handful of heavily damaged warships remain as they enter the harbor.
One battleship returns from a battle heavily damaged and on fire with the crew abandoning ship. A few moments later an enemy airship bombs the water in front of the ship and drops propaganda leaflets.
French Pre-Dreadnaught with a tumblehome hull shape.
The ships' design is based off French pre-dreadnaught, owing to their "tumblehome" design, and armament placement.
