Bunta Mizunomizawa is a character from Pom Poko. He is a racoon dog who is part of the main tribe. He is semi good at metamorphosis. He is voiced by Takehiro Murata and by Kevin Michael Richardson in the English dub.
He is sent to Sado Island on a three year journey to look for one of the legendary Transformation Masters, only to learn he was shot dead by a hunter years ago. When he comes back, he's shocked to find how much Tama Hills have changed, and remarks he feels like Urashima Taro.
