Cesari's

Cesari's is a grand café in Market Chipping, as seen in the film, Howl's Moving Castle.

Background[]

Cesari's is a bustling café located in the town plaza of Market Chipping. The café is adorned with stained glass windows and large decorative plants and fixtures, and even includes a confectionary where Lettie sells chocolates to the café patrons.

History[]

As the war continues, a large celebration takes place in Market Chipping. Young women dressed in fineries and recruits dance in the town plaza, while many others gather at Cesari's café to participate in some rest and relaxation. After finishing her work at her father's hat shop, Sophie heads toward the café in hopes of meeting her sister Lettie. Along the way, she has a chance encounter with the wizard Howl, who whisks her up in the air and takes her to the top floor of the café.
