Chiko Seed (チコの実, Chiko no Mi) is a seed of Chiko which is a plant grows wild in Valley of the Wind.[1]
About[]
Despite its small size, it is very rich in nutrients, and thus is suitable as a packed food. According to Asbel, it tastes "mysterious".
Three girls collected the seeds and offered to Nausicaä when she was leaving the valley as a hostage to Torumekia.
Nausicaä later shared the seeds with Teto and Asbel when they stranded in Toxic Jungle.

- Its name suggests it was based on seeds of Lycium chinense which is called Kuko Seed (クコの実, Kuko no Mi) in Japanese.[2]
