Elle Fanning (born Mary Elle Fanning on April 9, 1998 in Conyers, Georgia) is an American actress, who provided the Disney version's voice for Mei Kusakabe in Studio Ghibli's film My Neighbor Totoro. She is the younger sister of actress Dakota Fanning, who provided the voice for Mei's older sister Satsuki Kusakabe in My Neighbor Totoro.
