The Emishi Village is a location that appears in the film Princess Mononoke.
The tribe of Emishi lives peacefully among nature and themself. They don't like someone disturb their peaceful life. So they never tell a stranger about the location of their village. Yakul tell San the location. So San is the only stranger in the movie, who knows about it.
500 years ago, the emperor Mikado chases them off to the forests. In the movie the location of the movie is never revealed to the viewer. Perhaps the village is located on the islands Shikoku, Kyushu or Cedar Forest.
The Emishi, also called Ezo or Ebisu, is an ethnic group of people who lived in northeastern Honshū.
