Flying Battleships are large aerial battleships seen in the film, Howl's Moving Castle used by the Kingdom of Ingary and other nations.
Background[]
The Flying Battleship is a large battleship which flies upon the air with twelve metal wings, which flap similar to a bird. The ship is able to deploy flying tadpole monsters against its enemies through a dispenser in the rear. The ship is also crewed by Blob Men. It is equipped with numerous guns throughout the ship and a large bomb bay on its underbelly.
There are several other airship variants with varying shapes, wing designs and come in crimson, yellow, and gray/silver colors.
History[]
A gigantic flying battleship looms over as if to pollute the serene beauty of Howl's secret garden. It is going to bomb the cities and villages, and turn the entire area into a sea of flames. Howl glares at the vessel, casting a spell and disabling its engines for a brief moment.[1] Provoked, a squad of angered tadpole monsters emerge and purse Howl and Sophie.

When a returning Ingary naval Battleship returns to Porthaven, an enemy airship bombs the harbor and drops propaganda leaflets.
