Jirō Horikoshi's House is a location in The Wind Rises directed by Hayao Miyazaki of Studio Ghibli. They family live in that house. The father is never seen in the film, but he is mentioned by Jirō Horikoshi.
Around the house, there are paddy fields. The house is built out of three buildings. The family seems to be wealthy, because they have servants (with their own child) and Jiro can afford to study in Tokyo.
Later on, Jiro decides to study in Tokyo and move out of the house into a dormitory. After the time, Jiro works for the company Mitsubishi Kōkūki. He is not seen moving back and it is unknown where he lives with Naoko Satomi (Jirō's wife).
