John Lasseter (born January 12, 1957, in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA) is an American animator and producer who works at Pixar Animation Studios as well as Walt Disney Animation Studios. He directed many successful animated films such as (Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Cars, and Cars 2). He was the director and producer of the English version of Ponyo as well as being the executive producer of other Studio Ghibli films.
