Minonohashi (ミノノハシ) is a species of mammal-like animals. It initially appeared in The Journey of Shuna, followed by Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (manga) and Castle in the Sky and Princess Mononoke.

It is a mammal-like creature with four red eyes and beaver-like tail.
It is usually depicted to be a small species, however, it was much bigger in The Journey of Shuna, being a hippo-sized animal.
When it was seen in Princess Mononoke, it had more raccoon-like appearance.

- It is an imaginary species created by Hayao Miyazaki.
- Minonohashi, have appeared in four different works, is the second most recurring characters in Ghibli works after Humbert von Gikkingen and Muta / Moon.
- Its name is presumably based on bagworm (ミノムシ, minomushi) and platypus (カモノハシ, kamonohashi).
