A nameless Dorok village [1], in the Dorok Principality of Sapata, was being attacked by a pair of Torumekian Strike Bombers when Kushana's Armored Corvette encountered it.
The strike bombers are from the Second Army and Kurotowa shoots them both down while Nausicaä uses Mehve to investigate the village.
Nausicaä finds a dead Torumekian reconnaissance patrol, killed by the miasma more than 100 leagues from the Toxic Jungle.
Entering the village's temple, she finds all the villagers dead as a result of asphyxiation [2] due to them sealing the temple and leaving a fire burning. She rescues a baby and a small child, the only survivors of the village.
