Obaba, also known Old Lady, is a character in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. She is the aunt of Nausicaä.

She is a blind old woman who also appears to be the wise woman of the Valley of the Wind.

Behind the Voice

Obaba was provided her voice by Hisako Kyoda, Judi Durand in the Warriors of the Wind-dubbed version, and Tress MacNeille in the Disney version.
