Pazu's Father

Pazu's Dad is a character in Castle in the Sky. He is merely known as such; his name has never been revealed.

History[]

Pazu's Father's greatest discovery was the legendary floating city of Laputa during one harsh exploration, locating the city within the center of particularly harsh cyclone. He managed to snap a shot of the city with his camera before the storms forced his aircraft from the area.

Despite the evidence he had obtained, critics immediately called the photo a fraud, and Pazu's father would later die as the result of guilt for being called a liar.

Legacy[]

Pazu, the son of this guilty man, would follow along in his father's footsteps and attempt to prove to the general public that Laputa was no myth.

Castle in the Sky[]

While flying through the storm clouds leading directly into Laputa, Pazu sees a vision of his father in his own airship, leading the way. However, it is unknown if this is only Pazu's hallucination or truly his father's ghost.
