Seita's aunt is the aunt of Seita and Setsuko Yokokawa, the sister of Kiyoshi Yokokawa and the sister-in-law of Mrs. Yokokawa.
History
After Seita and his sister lose their home and mother to an air raid, they then come to live at their aunt's house, having nowhere else to go.
